Sustainability policy

We are taking steps to decrease carbon emissions across this event by providing low-carbon meals, reducing material use, suggesting public transport options, and offsetting travel emissions for in-person attendees.

  • LOW-CARBON TRAVEL - We challenge you to come by train, bike, or foot. We recommend offsetting your travel through verified, high-quality offsetting services such as Life Terra or Trees for All.

  • PLANT FORWARD MEALS - Our event catering will prioritize delicious, low-carbon meal and drink options.

  • REDUCING MATERIAL USE - To facilitate a circular and zero-waste event, we’re maximizing the use of our existing resources and eliminating single-use disposable items wherever possible.

  • REGENERATION - This event’s business model is based on the values of regeneration. This means that we redistribute capital towards projects that focus on land regeneration and empowering indigenous voices. Indigenous wisdom keepers and the land regeneration efforts benefit directly. 10% of income (total revenue minus fixed costs + VAT) on PTfG activities we donate to regenerative projects with a preference for land regeneration and empowering indigenous voices.
